Frequently Asked Questions about Deliveries
Q: What is your delivery area?
A: We deliver within 3 miles of our pizzeria at 16399 S. Golden Road. $15 minimum on all deliveries.
Q: What is your delivery timeframe?
A: We estimate 45-60 minutes for delivery Sun-Thurs and 90 minutes or more on Friday & Saturday as well as when the Broncos have a televised game. However, delivery times vary based on business, traffic or weather. Every effort is made to get your food to you in a timely manner. (If Deep Dish pizza is ordered, your delivery will be a minimum of 1 hour to arrive since deep dish pizzas take at least 45 minutes to bake.)
Q: If my delivery is late, it's FREE, right?
A: Sorry, we do not guarantee our delivery time. 99% of our deliveries are on time. For those few that exceed the quoted time, road conditions are generally to blame. Please understand that your food will be delivered hot and fresh no matter what since our drivers each have an induction warming system in their car. We invested a lot of money in these warming systems to ensure our delivery customers always get hot food delivered.
Q: How come delivery takes so long some of the time?
A: Our ovens--which we currently have 4--accommodate all of our dine-in, carry out, and delivery orders. On a busy night, we seat 152 in the restaurant, and that alone is a large amount of orders not to mention the pick ups & deliveries. Keep in mind, the Big 3 mainly deal with delivery only as most of their establishments do not offer dine-in that is why they are able to deliver quickly. Comparing us with the Big 3 (as so many do) is like comparing apples to oranges. Your patience and understanding when things take longer than usual is greatly appreciated.
Q: What is an induction heated bag?
A: With an induction heated bag, the pizza relies on induction-heated discs, which provide a constant source of heat. The pizza stays fresh for a longer period of time, and customers definitely notice the difference. Induction heating has enabled pizza delivery systems to evolve from traditional, insulated bags into cordless, actively-warmed transport containers. For pizza delivery, heated discs can be an excellent source of heat, providing oven-like warmth all the way to a customer's doorstep.
Q: May I use a credit card for delivery?
A: Yes. You will need to show your ID and credit card to our driver before signing the credit card receipt. Unless both the ID and card match, we cannot release the order. This is for your protection.
Q: Do you charge for deliveries?
A: Yes. Effective September 25, 2013, $1 delivery charge will be added to all deliveries. We charge $1 to cover the fees we have to pay monthly to the City of Golden for the privilege of delivering within the City of Golden limits since we are not technically within the City of Golden itself and are in unincorporated Jefferson County. Sorry, but this is new for us, too. As a result, we decreased our delivery area. In addition, we add a 15% gratuity to all deliveries but that is not a delivery fee. The entire 15% goes directly to the driver. That is their tip. We have always added 15% to deliveries for our drivers.
Q: What if I do not want to be charged 15% driver gratuity for my delivery?
A: You may pick up your order instead of having it delivered.
